Ultrasonic wind sensor Maintenance-free operation Open communication protocol
Lufft sensors, both in plastic and metal housing, use ultrasonic technology for precise wind speed measurement. Lufft sensors are tested in a high-precision wind tunnel, so accuracy is guaranteed.
During the project data collection phase, WS500 can be positioned on a tall tower to accurately measure wind speed and direction during a new wind site feasibility study.
